Dyah Hesti Wardhani, a professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering – Diponegoro University, graduated her bachelor degree from UNDIP in 1998 and master degree from UGM 2001. In 2009, she received her doctorate degree from The University of Manchester. She is interested in food research that focuses on bioprocess, functional foods, and bioactive encapsulation. Recently, she is exploring biomaterial particularly for medical purposes.
