(12/08) Semarang, the Faculty of Engineering Undip in collaboration with the University of Hull, UK held a Webinar “Double degree Program at University of Hull” as a continuation of the plan to sign the MoU Double Degree Program between the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) Chemical Engineering and Chemical Engineering, UoH.
Present from UoH Samuel Skilton, as International Development Manager, Professor Mark Lorch as Associate Deans of the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Dr Dipesh Patel, as Lecturer and Admission Tutor of Chemical Engineering, and Professor Philip Rubini, as Professor and Head of Chemical Engineering.
Meanwhile, from the Faculty of Engineering, the Head of the Undergraduate Study Program, Dr. Nita Aryanti and Coordinator of the International Office of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Dessy Ariyanti. This webinar was attended by around 33 Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering students, both IUP and regular programs.
The activity begins with an introduction from each university and then continues with an explanation of the double degree program including the curriculum, study time, scholarships and program admission requirements. The discussion session was quite interactive, many students asked questions and expressed their interest in joining the double degree program. There are already 6 people from the Chemical Engineering IUP who have received a Letter of Offer from the University of Hull and are planning to start their studies in the next semester. (Mardian)
