(2/6) Semarang, Master of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Diponegoro again received an A accreditation from BAN-PT this year. Based on the decision of BAN-PT No.3316/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-PPJ/M/VI/2020, it is determined that the Master of Chemical Engineering is entitled to A accreditation which is valid from 31 May 2020 – 31 May 2025.
Why is accreditation from BAN-PT important?
BAN-PT is an official government institution that assists in carrying out its duties and obligations as well as carrying out quality control and efficiency of higher education. BAN-PT’s acknowledgment of an educational institution is a minimum standard guarantee that shows its graduates meet the qualifications to continue their education to a higher level or enter specialized education, or to be able to carry out their professional practice (to recognize an educational institution as maintaining standards that qualify the graduates for admission to higher or more specialized institutions or for professional practice).
Master of Chemical Engineering FT UNDIP received an A accreditation which is the best accreditation qualification with a score of 371. The assessment indicators include; (1) Curriculum of each educational program, (2) Number of lecturers/educators, (3) Condition of students/students (4) Coordination of education implementation, (5) Educational facilities and infrastructure, (6) Readiness of academic administration, staffing, finance , and households from schools/colleges.
