Faculty of Engineering – Every student has different dreams. The dream of being part of outstanding students has been proven by the Undip team working at the 2018 World Invention Creativity Olympic (WIC) event.
The team represented by students Arvin M. Yafiz and Aditya Affan Hardiyanto who are students from the Department of Chemical Engineering and four other students from other disciplines have won gold medals in the best presentation and innovation category at WICO 2018 Seoul Trade Exhibition and Invention Center (SETEC).
The WICO 2018 activity, which was held from 2-4 August, was attended by 50 teams from 20 countries involved starting with abstract selection, full paper, presentation, prototype exhibition and announcement of champions.
Undip delegates who won the Gold Medal stole the jury’s attention with the title STOPS “Smart Tools of Photocatalytic System”, a fish drying technology with photocatalysts and can reduce heavy metal levels found in fish.
