Congratulations and pride are expressed to the Gyptosan team consisting of Josia Benardo Barimbing, Maria Delviona Naibaho, Vincentius Edward Susanto, Ringgy Etika Titi Jumarno and Dhea Wahyu Amanda Arifin for their achievements which made the Chemical Engineering Department proud by winning a silver medal in the World Youth Invention and Innovation competition. Award (WYIIA) 2023 held by the Indonesia Young Scientist Association (IYSA) on October 10 2023. The international level competition organized by IYSA is one of the prestigious competitions regarding Scientific Writing (KTI). Not only Diponegoro University, other prestigious universities from both Indonesia and abroad also participated in this activity. The Gyptosan team wrote an article with the title “Development of UP010 Membrane Coated with Gypsum Crosslinked Chitosan as Ammonia Removal in Vannamei Shrimp Farming” and succeeded in getting a silver medal. Even though they have various other activities, this does not break the enthusiasm of all team members to continue preparing for this competition well. Hopefully more and more students will continue to strive to achieve their achievements even though they are busy.
