The Faculty of Engineering at Diponegoro University (FT UNDIP) is establishing international cooperation with the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) to expand networks and enhance the quality of higher education. This event will take place on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at the Widaya Puraya Building of UNDIP and will be attended by the deans and/or representatives from all faculties at UNDIP.
Prof. Vimal Chandra Srivastava, serving as the Dean of International Relations and G B Pant Institute Chair Professor at IIT Roorkee, welcomed this collaboration by signing the Implementation of Agreement alongside the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Jamari, S.T., M.T. This collaboration encompasses various aspects such as enhancing research and scientific publications, double degree programs, student exchange, and international conferences or workshops. This collaboration is expected to broaden the global perspectives of both institutions.
The arrival of Prof. Vimal Chandra Srivastava at UNDIP was part of the Adjunct Professor activities in the Department of Chemical Engineering, funded by the World Class University UNDIP Program Adjunct Professor 2024. On the same day, Prof. Vimal Chandra Srivastava also met with the Head of the Doctoral Program in Chemical Engineering at UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Aji Prasetyaningrum, S.T., M.T., and the Head of the Master’s Program in Chemical Engineering at UNDIP, Prof. Ir. Didi Dwi Anggoro, M.Eng., Ph.D. This meeting resulted in agreements in the fields of academics and research, including a Dual Degree Program, Non-Degree Courses, and International Conference Collaboration. It is hoped that this activity will enhance UNDIP’s reputation on the international stage and motivate students to conduct research of international standards.
